• It points to techno-utopianism such that it can solve all problems.
• Enrolment in Aadhaar is most confusing for uneducated and for rural population.
• Aadhaar Officials are nor responsive or accountable.
• There are high possibilities of data theft and privacy concerns with Aadhaar.

How government is addressing the issues?

• Aadhaar should be considered as the only document for all activities involving financial process.
• Many initiatives were taken to reduce the difficulties in issuance of Aadhaar card.
• The enrolment and correction of Aadhaar is outsourced.
• The users are provided with option of locking their data, which are in the verge of misuse.
• Experienced and high skilled employees are appointed in the Aadhaar enrolment process.
