The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), formerly the United Nations Fund for Population Activities, is a UN organization.
It is the lead UN agency for delivering a world where every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe and every young person's potential is fulfilled".
Their work involves the improvement of reproductive health including creation of national strategies and protocols, and birth control by providing supplies and services.
The organization has recently been known for its worldwide campaign against child marriage, obstetric fistula and female genital mutilation.

Migration and Development Brief
Migration and Development Brief is released yearly by the World Bank.
These briefs are informal notes for Bank staff on the development implications of current migration and remittances issues.
They highlight emerging trends or topical issues, and are issued every second month (or more frequently if the occasion demands).
According to recent migration and development brief India has retained its position as the world’s top recipient of remittances (money sent back home by its nationals working abroad) in 2018.
Currency Chest
Recently Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has issued guidelines for banks to set up new currency chests.
Currency chests are branches of selected banks authorized by the RBI to stock rupee notes and coins.
According to the guideline the currency chests should have Chest Balance Limit (CBL) of Rs 1,000 crore, subject to ground realities and reasonable restrictions, at the discretion of the Reserve Bank.
The RBI offices in various cities receive the notes from note presses and coins from the mints. These are sent to the currency chests and small coin depots from where they are distributed to bank branches.

Veer Parivar App
‘Veer Parivar App’ is a mobile application launched by union government for families of CRPF personnel killed in the line of duty.
The application will act as an interface between the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) authorities and the next of kin of the slain personnel.
It will render all assistance to the families of the martyred CRPF personnel with regard to issuance of ex gratia, pensionary benefits and all information regarding the welfare schemes introduced for them by the government.
The assistance will be provided to the families on a real-time basis, the CRPF headquarters in Delhi and various group centers across the country will respond to these issues.
The Android-based app will be installed by the force’s officials securely on the phone of the families and will not be available over the app stores.
