Wholesale food inflation

• The Wholesale Price Index (WPI) tracks price changes in goods sold in bulk by wholesalers to other businesses.
• WPI tracks supply and demand fluctuations in industrial, manufacturing, and construction sectors.
• Released monthly by the Economic Advisor in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the WPI measures wholesale inflation by quantifying month-over-month price increases.

Minimum Support Price
