· Security cooperation in the Indo-Pacific is also emerging as an important theme.
Ties with Europe
· China loomed large as an attractive commercial partner for Europe, so China was their choice for better investment.
· Now, India’s partnership with France now has a strong regional anchor the Indo-Pacific. France was quick to see the challenges arising from China’s maritime expansion.
· The rest of Europe and Britain have recognized China challenge and are paying greater attention to the Indo-Pacific.
