One Nation One Subscription, is a Central Sector Scheme for providing country-wide access to scholarly research articles and journal publication.
The scheme will be administered through a simple, user friendly and fully digital process.
This will be a “One Nation One Subscription” facility for the government higher education institutions and R&D laboratories of the central government.
This will supplement the ANRF initiative to promote research and development and foster a culture of research and innovation throughout government universities, colleges, research institutions, and R&D laboratories.

November 24 is commemorated as the Shaheedi Divas of Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth guru of the Sikhs, who was executed on the orders of Aurangzeb in 1675.
Tegh Bahadur was born in Amritsar on April 21, 1621 to Mata Nanki and Guru Hargobind, the sixth Sikh guru, who raised an army against the Mughals and introduced the concept of warrior saints.
Guru Tegh Bahadur had built a ‘bhora’ (basement) in his house at Bakala where he spent most of his time in meditation.
He was married to Mata Gujri at Kartarpur in 1632, and subsequently left for Bakala near Amritsar.
After Guru Ram Das, the fourth Sikh guru, the guruship became hereditary.
